Our admissions process is a conversation, not a calculation. We are seeking to build a community of diverse, passionate, and intellectually generous individuals. While academic results provide a valuable insight into your preparation and diligence, they are only one part of your story. We are equally interested in your curiosity, your resilience in the face of challenges, your capacity for creative thought, and your desire to contribute to a collaborative community. We want to understand what drives you, what questions keep you awake at night, and what kind of impact you hope to make on the world. Our process is designed to help us see that whole person.
Our Admissions Philosophy We believe that potential is not always perfectly captured by standardised tests or grade point averages. We are committed to a holistic review process that considers every aspect of your application. We look for evidence of:
- Intellectual Curiosity: A genuine passion for learning that extends beyond the classroom syllabus. What do you read, watch, or build in your own time?
- Creative Problem-Solving: The ability to approach challenges from unconventional angles and a willingness to experiment and iterate.
- Collaborative Spirit: A recognition that the most complex problems are solved together. We look for students who can listen, contribute, and elevate the work of their peers.
- Global Mindset: An openness to different cultures, perspectives, and ideas, and an understanding of your place within a wider global context.
The Application Process Our application process is consistent across all levels of entry but is tailored to be age and stage appropriate. The journey to joining us involves the following steps:
- Online Application Form: This is where you will provide your personal details, academic history, and select your programme of interest.
- Submission of Supporting Documents: This typically includes your official academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency (if applicable), and your passport/ID.
- The Personal Statement / Portfolio: This is your opportunity to speak to us directly.
- Foundation & Undergraduate Applicants: You will submit a Personal Statement. We provide a series of prompts designed to move beyond a simple list of achievements and encourage genuine reflection on your motivations and aspirations.
- Postgraduate Applicants: You will submit a Statement of Purpose, outlining your academic and professional objectives and how our specific programme will help you achieve them.
- Arts & Design Applicants (All Levels): You will be required to submit a digital portfolio of your creative work.
- The Blueskyy Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. This is a two-way conversation. It is a chance for us to learn more about you, and for you to learn more about us. The interview will be conducted by a faculty member from your chosen programme and will focus on your intellectual interests and ways of thinking, not a test of memorised knowledge.
